DIY Chore Chart Printable
This DIY chore chart is one of those projects that once it’s done I think, “Why the heck did that take me so long to get to?” It has been a great system for my kids to use to keep them honest about the chores that they are supposed to be doing. There is something about being able to move the chore from “to-do” to “done” that my kids think is so fun. It makes chores a little more enjoyable for sure! If you don’t already have a chore system in place, I definitely recommend this one, especially for younger kids. Mine are 2 and 4 years old and this has worked really well with them because of the pictures on the cards.
If you would like to make one for yourself, I am showing how to put it all together over on I Heart Naptime today and would love it if you went to check out the post over there. Once you see how it’s all made, come on back and grab the printable so that you can make one of your own.

This is a fantastic idea. Thanks so much. Could you please tell me how you designed your squares. I would like to add more for my daughter TIA
I designed them using photoshop. What other squares are you hoping to have? Maybe I can help you out if you don’t have photoshop.
Hi, I really love your idea! I know this is probably for little kids, but I found it helpful to keep me organized. I was wondering if you can make some more of those cut outs. Like, Feed the dogs, Finish all H.W., and eat dinner. This helps manage my time to get things done at a certain time. Anyways thank you!
I’d also love more/different squares! I don’t have photoshop–or skills! Do you have a link for others?
I too would love more chore options such as: get dressed, put away pajamas, pick up room, feed cat, hug mommy ;). These are adorable! I’ve already made them and am ready to print my chore labels. You did an excellent job…Thank you!
What size did you make the squares? I was thinking of making the boards 12×12 and adding 8 chores:
Feed Dogs, pick up toys, brush teeth, finish homework, Set table, Finish Dinner, Put clothes in hamper, put recycling in bins
Do I need to make the boards bigger?
Hi Jonie.. I really love your charts.. 🙂 I have trouble downloading it though.. even after subscribing..
