garden worksheet free printable

This week is all about gardens, and I am really excited about some of the activities we have planned. I think you’re going to love them, and I KNOW your kids definitely would! We started things off with some reading, writing, and imagination by doing this garden worksheet together. (If you’re interested in using this with your kids, the printable is available at the end of this post.)

I loved working on this one with my girls because I was able to hear all about what they would want planted in their own gardens. Lillie’s garden involved lots of beautiful flowers like roses and peonies, strawberries, and of course, she has bunnies and birds included as well. Lillie’s world will always include baby animals that she can hold and love.

Addie has a different approach to things. She went with spiked flowers that were poisonous, and sunshine. (She finished describing things to me with an extra evil laugh.) She is always looking for a laugh, and we are usually happy to oblige. 🙂

Overall, this was a really fun exercise with my girls and think your kids would enjoy it as well. Remember, this is a worksheet aimed at children ages 4-6. Printables are for personal use and available to subscribers of Just Between Friends only.  To use this printable, please SUBSCRIBE NOW.
