st patricks day hairstyle

Did you guys practice your braided ponytails yet? No? Well get on it! Ha! Now, even if you haven’t had a chance to get that style down, I have another one for you this week! Oh! Of course, we have to keep up with the latest holiday and use some of the cutest little glitter shamrock clips you have seen! Without any more chitchat, lets get into Twist Knot Pigtails!

glitter shamrock hair clip

Part the hair down the center. Sectioning off a piece about a two inches in size at the top of the part, by the bangs. Place that in an elastic. Do the same thing at the nape of the neck. Placing the hair in the center in one large ponytail. Now you have three ponytails on one side. Repeat that on the other side. You now should have 6 ponytails. Two small on the top, equal in size, two large in the center, equal in size, and two at the bottom, also equal in size. Starting at the top with the two small tails, twist them in opposite directions. Then tie them in a knot, crossing the tails over to the larger center tails of the opposite side. Combine the small tail and the big tails together. Then twist the bottom smaller tails in the opposite directions, and knot those. Combing the smaller tails with the larger tail as you just did with the others. I like to make them into little messy buns at this point. Just twist the ponytails and wrap with elastics and bobby pin if needed. And then you of course need to add the adorable shamrock clips that Jonie made!

Don’t forget to follow me on IG and tag me in your tries! Oh! And as much as I struggle to learn this whole hashtag thing, don’t forget to use #justsundaystyles so I can see you! Till next week friends!
