Melting Snowman Cupcake

Snowman week continues today with these SUPER easy melted snowman cupcakes. I wanted to make a fun snowman cupcake, and these were too cute not to make. My girls loved helping me to put the eyes and buttons on the snowmen, as well as the arms, and I loved that they were easy enough that they could actually help me.

I didn’t need to make a fancy cupcake, so I used a boxed Devil’s food chocolate cake mix, and was able to make 24 cupcakes. I also used a container of pre-made frosting to keep things simple since this was just a fun afternoon activity.

I put the frosting into a ziplock bag and then clipped the tip of the bag so that I could pipe the frosting onto the cupcake easily. I did two circles stacked on each cupcake to create the body of the snowman. Then I took a large marshmallow and cut it in half for the head. Once that is on, I got mini chocolate chips and we added them to the front and head of the snowman. We also used stick pretzels, one cut in half for each cupcake, as arms on the snowmen.
