My all time favorite movie is Hocus Pocus. Hands down. We watch it year round at my house, but we watch it more frequently around Halloween time. I thought it would be fun to do a DIY Halloween t-shirt for my kids, and naturally Hocus Pocus came to mind. This shirt is so easy to make, and is so cute too!

DIY Witch T-shirt

To start, you’ll need a shirt. I found these long sleeve t-shirts at Walmart for only $5. They work really well with the iron on vinyl that I found at Expressions Vinyl. Their easy weed vinyl makes it SO easy to make any design.

I designed the hat and words using my Silhouette software and then cut it out making sure to make the design a mirror image from the original. If you don’t do that, the words will be ironed on backwards. The hat is found in the Silhouette store, and the words and stars I added. The first one I made, I decided that the image was too small for the shirt, and tried again making the hat quite a bit larger. Luckily, I have a cute niece that I could give the other shirt to because it was still cute and she loves the witch hat on it!

My daughter Addie has been a witch for Halloween for the last three years. To say that she loves witches is an understatement. She is in love with this shirt which makes it totally worth it.

Tomorrow, I have another shirt idea for you that is SO EASY. Like, even easier than this one, but that is just as stinking cute. Plus, it’s a shirt for the little guys in your life. You’re gonna want to see it!
